Lake Escondido and Winter Center: discover Tierra del Fuego’s winter landscapes<\/h2>\n

Explore the mountain scenery northeast of Ushuaia<\/strong> on a guided excursion along National Route 3<\/strong>. Admire Mount Olivia and Mount Cinco Hermanos as the road heads through Carvajal Valley<\/strong>, where glacial landforms, hanging valleys and peatlands shape the landscape.<\/p>\n

Continue towards Garibaldi Pass<\/strong> along a winding road through lenga and \u00f1ire forests. At the viewpoint, enjoy sweeping views of Lake Escondido<\/strong>, Lake Fagnano<\/strong> and the surrounding mountains.<\/p>\n

Winter center and optional snow activities<\/h3>\n

The tour then visits an area of winter activity centers. You’ll have time for a typical Tierra del Fuego lunch at your own expense before returning to Ushuaia.
