WINTER TOUR OF TIERRA DEL FUEGO NATIONAL PARK<\/b><\/h2>\n

Departing from the city of Ushuaia, heading southwest, we will take National Route No. 3, heading towards Tierra del Fuego National Park.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the 11 kilometers between the park entrance and the city of Ushuaia, we will have the opportunity to stop near the Equestrian Center, where we can enjoy excellent panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, the Ushuaia Peninsula, and the Bridges, Willie, and Les Eclauriers archipelagos.<\/span><\/p>\n

After crossing the Pipo River bridge, near the Ushuaia Golf Club, you’ll find the Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino station, where the famous End of the World Train departs. Visitors who wish to board the train can do so as an option. The group will meet again later at the end of the tour. <\/span><\/p>\n

We continue the tour for another 2 kilometers to finally enter the National Park, an area of more than 70,000 hectares reserved for the protection of the Subantarctic Forest, as well as its native flora and fauna.<\/span><\/p>\n

We’ll take the path surrounded by lenga forests and peat bogs to reach Lake Acigami (formerly Roca), a glacial lake with a surface area of 5.50 square kilometers. This lake offers a beautiful view, framed by mountains and dense forests, where it’s also possible to spot numerous native birds. <\/span><\/p>\n

Here you’ll find a rest area. You’ll have 30 minutes to explore the area and take photos. <\/span><\/p>\n

We’ll then head to Lapataia Bay, where you can admire the coastline, rich in mollusks and mussels. There, we’ll also find vestiges of the ancient indigenous people who inhabited the region. We’ll have time to walk along the footbridge, from which the views are breathtaking, take photographs, and enjoy the dreamy sensation of visiting the End of the World. <\/span><\/p>\n

From here, at the end of National Route No. 3, the return to the city of Ushuaia begins.<\/span><\/p>\n
