<\/p>\nHeading southwest, departing from the beautiful city of Ushuaia, the route will take Route 33 to Tierra del Fuego National Park, an area reserved for the protection of the Subantarctic Forest and native flora and fauna.
\nNext, we’ll visit Ensenada Bay, from where we’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the Beagle Channel and the surrounding landscape before embarking on a wonderful adventure toward Redonda Island.
\nAfter a 15-20 minute cruise, we’ll dock at this wonderful island, offering unique views of the Beagle Channel and the National Park.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, we’ll have the option to hike trails of medium or easy difficulty. The forest in this region is known for its lushness, greenery, and exuberance. Along the way, we’ll enjoy the fresh air of the Fuegian forest. At the end of the trail, a viewpoint offers the opportunity to take stunning panoramic photos. Redonda Island offers a unique perspective and the authentic sensation of having reached the End of the World, or the beginning of everything.<\/p>\n
After the visit, we’ll return to the boat to begin our return to Ensenada Bay and continue our tour of the National Park, a must-see natural area on your trip to Ushuaia.<\/p>\n

Along the path surrounded by lenga forests and peat bogs, we will reach Lake Acigami (formerly Lake Roca), a glacial lake with a surface area of 5.50 square kilometers, surrounded by mountains and forests, where it is possible to spot specimens of native birds.<\/p>\n
Just a few minutes from Lake Acigami, we’ll stop at the Alakush Visitor Center for approximately 20 minutes. Here, you can enjoy the cafeteria service and enjoy a treat while exploring the souvenir shop and a small museum to complete the tour.<\/p>\n
Finally, you’ll be amazed by the visit to Lapataia Bay, after crossing the cormorant archipelago and peat bogs. At Lapataia Bay, in addition to the marine coastline rich in mollusks and mussels, we’ll find vestiges of the ancient Aboriginal people who inhabited the region. There, we’ll have time to walk along the footbridge, from which we can take excellent photographs.<\/p>\n
From this point, the end of National Route No. 3, we will begin our return to the city of Ushuaia.<\/p>\n
