Laguna Esmeralda: A hidden landscape in Tierra del Fuego<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Trekking to Laguna Esmeralda<\/strong> is a characteristic walk that is among the most chosen and accessible among the options offered by the southernmost city in the world.<\/p>\n

The adventure begins. We pass by your accommodation and head north, about 20 minutes from the city. Upon arrival at the destination, the tour guide provides a brief introduction to the tour. You cross the Carbajal Valley along a pleasant and signposted path, also several peat bogs and rocky terrain.<\/p>\n

Continuing through the forest, the walk borders the Esmeralda River to the most anticipated destination, the magnificent Laguna Esmeralda, a lake of glacial origin whose name comes from the striking color that the sediments of the Ojo del Albino Glacier<\/a> provide it. This landscape is appreciated especially during the summer, since in winter the Lagoon tends to freeze and is covered by snow. Even so, its natural scenery stands out for being impressive all year round.<\/p>\n

Surrounded by nature and with an incomparable view, we enjoyed the box lunch.<\/p>\n
