The 3-day excursion package in Ushuaia that no one wants to miss. Perfect for those who want to know the most emblematic scenes of the Fuegian territory with a practical itinerary. Below we tell you the details of each of the tours.

Tierra del Fuego National Park:

Starting from the city of Ushuaia, heading towards the Tierra del Fuego National Park, along National Route N°3, 11 kilometers are traveled through which the Andean landscapes begin to captivate their viewers.

The first stop, before reaching the Park, is near the Equestrian Center. It provides excellent panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, the Ushuaia peninsula and the Bridges, Willie and Les Eclauriers archipelagos.

Continuing with the itinerary, after crossing the Pipo River bridge, we approach the station of the Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino, the renowned End of the World Train. For those people who want to board the End of the World Train, this is your opportunity. Since they can take the walk if they wish. The rest of the group will continue the route for another 2 kilometers to meet again.

You enter the Tierra del Fuego National Park, an area of ​​more than 70,000 hectares reserved for the protection of the Subantarctic Forest, with all the native flora and fauna that comprise it.

We begin the tour along a path surrounded by Lengas forests and peat bogs, until we reach Lake Acigami (former Roca), which is of glacial origin and whose surface is almost 6 square kilometers, framed by mountains and forests, where it is possible to see numerous specimens of native birds.

In the services area, we will have approximately 30 minutes free.

Continuing the tour, we approach Lapataia Bay, which in addition to standing out for its marine coast, rich in mollusks and mussels, also finds vestiges of the ancient aboriginal people that inhabited the region. You have the necessary time to walk the walkway from which everyone wants to take photographs and enjoy the wonderful sensation of living the experience of being at the end of the world.

Once the tour is finished, we will return to the city, filled with memories and anecdotal photographs.

Beagle Channel Navigation, the unmissable postcard:

The navigation begins at the Ushuaia Tourist Dock. Heading towards the Beagle Channel, slowly moving away from the coast, you will discover unmissable panoramic views of the city and mainly of its most significant buildings: the Maritime Museum (former prison), the Museum of the End of the World, the industrial area, and the mountains. Olivia and Five Brothers.

The island of Los Lobos is the first island we approach. Here you can admire numerous specimens of sea lions in their natural habitat, a unique opportunity to take unmissable photos of the end of the world.

Continuing the trip, the next point of interest will be the island of Los Pájaros, known for housing Magellanic cormorants and Imperial cormorants. A privileged area to see unique specimens of marine birds.

Coming soon, one of the favorites of all those who intend to travel to Ushuaia is approaching. The renowned Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse or Lighthouse at the End of the World, located in the archipelago that bears the same name, where the ship Monte Cervantes was shipwrecked in 1930.

The return is made through Paso Chico, an opportunity to see the Túnel and Fique Estancias. As we return to Ushuaia, we enjoy a privileged view of the imposing frame that gives the city Mount Martial and the glacier of the same name.

Fuegian Lakes, the heart of the island:

The tour begins from Ushuaia, along National Route N°3 towards the northwest, towards the mountain peaks where Mount Olivia and Cinco Hermanos stand out mainly.

Along the route through the Carvajal Valley, cirque glaciers, hanging valleys and exploited peat bogs are observed.

A stop is made at the Valle de Lobos Winter Center, an establishment where sled dogs, Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Huskies are raised.

The tour continues, there is still much to know! Along the way, we will find peat valleys, small glaciers, cross-country ski centers and snow activities, the renowned Cerro Castor alpine ski complex, waterfalls and natural settings altered by the actions of the Beavers.

Upon crossing the area known as Rancho Hambre, a winding and ascending path begins to the Garibaldi Pass, which stands out for being surrounded by amazing Lengas and Ñires forests.

An unmissable point to record infinite landscapes is the Garibaldi Pass Viewpoint, where we will stop to enjoy the views of Lake Escondido, Lake Fagnano and surrounding areas. Camera in hand, no one wants to miss the opportunity to portray such a wonderful setting.

The return takes us back to the area of ​​the winter centers, where we will have the opportunity to stop to tour and have lunch. It is also a time to enjoy the valley and do snow activities. Finally, we return to the city of Ushuaia.

Trekking and hiking activities are favorites of visitors to Tierra del Fuego National Park. But you can also do canoeing and camping at different points designated for this purpose. The Park has a Visitor Center where the information and services area operates.

From the city of Ushuaia and contemplating the tour of the main points of interest of the Park, the excursion lasts half a day (approximately 6 hours). There are also full-day excursions that combine a visit to the park with other tours.

Upon accessing the Park, you will have a location map to be able to explore it according to the points of interest that each visitor desires. Likewise, we recommend not missing the opportunity to visit: Lapataia Bay, Laguna Negra, Acigami or Roca Lake, Pipo River Waterfall and Zaratiegui Cove.

From the city of Ushuaia you must drive along National Route No. 3 for 10 kilometers. It can be accessed through public transportation, transfer companies or by private vehicle. Important: for those who rent cars, keep in mind that in winter the snow makes traffic on the route difficult and covers with nails must be used.

Inside the Park is the Alakush Visitor Center where you can access the information you need, there is an interpretation area, a service area and a cafeteria.
