The End of the World Museum
Museum dependent on the Provincial Government. It was inaugurated as a Territorial Museum on May 18, 1979, in the building at Maipú 173, in Ushuaia, where the Banco de la Nación Argentina previously operated. Later, in 1990, with the provincialization of the Territory, it received its current name. In 2008, the Old Government House, located at Maipú 465, was incorporated into the Museum of the End of the World.
The ticket is valid for both buildings (Maipú 173 and Maipú 475) and for 3 days.
For the moment, the ticket can only be paid in cash.
In the museum you will find the history of the first natives of the island, the elements they used and their customs. There are also exhibits about local wildlife and some of the shipwrecks that occurred near the island.
