The Old Government House (Maipú 465) is a second headquarters of the End of the World Museum, whose Founding House is located at Maipú 173. The Old House originally served as the Governor’s residence. Later, in different stages, it was the headquarters of the Government, the first headquarters of the National Radio of Ushuaia, Police Headquarters, Territorial Legislature and Provincial Legislature. In its eight rooms, an important variety of pieces linked to both legislative work and other events in Fuegian history are exhibited.
