The Fuegian Lakes Full Experience is an activity that begins leaving the city of Ushuaia, then we will travel along National Route No. 3, heading northeast, towards the mountain peaks of Mount Olivia and Cinco Hermanos.
On the tour, we’ll reach the Carbajal Valley, where we’ll make a photo stop and observe cirque glaciers, hanging valleys, and exploited peat bogs.
The second stop will be at a winter resort, where we’ll have a briefing about where we are while enjoying a delicious mountain coffee and a small snack.
Here we’ll hop on ATVs for a ride through the Fuegian forests, take photographs, and enjoy the stunning scenery.
We continue our journey, discovering peat valleys, small glaciers, the Cerro Castor alpine ski resort, waterfalls, and environments modified by the actions of beavers.
From Rancho Hambre, we begin the climb toward Garibaldi Pass, following the winding road surrounded by forests of lenga and Ñire trees. At the Garibaldi Pass Lookout, we’ll stop to enjoy panoramic views of Escondido Lake, Fagnano Lake, and the surrounding area.
On the way to Lake Fagnano, we can see the Bronzovich Sawmill and the Entre Ríos Rural School, and before reaching the shores of the lake, we will make a stop at one of the many Beaver Dams where we can see up close the incredible work created by this small animal.
We continue toward the foot of Lake Fagnano to make our stop at Estancia “La Carmen.” Here, we can walk along the interpretive trails and take photographs from the wide docks that jut out into the immense lake. The place has cafeteria services, snacks and bathrooms.
After this last stop we will begin the return to the area of the winter centers. Once there, we will enjoy a short talk and a distillate tasting.
To close out this wonderful experience, we’ll sit down to taste the famous Fuegian lamb.
After lunch, we will return to the city of Ushuaia, dropping off each passenger and their corresponding accommodation.
The order of the activities may be modified and will be at the discretion of the guide.
day of service.
