Ushuaia on Foot is a city tour, an excursion through the city of Ushuaia in a different, relaxed way, where we will walk through history surrounded by extreme cultural and natural beauty.

We begin our day’s adventure at the Ushuaia Sign, where we can take photos at this iconic site. From there, we began to travel on foot, amidst stories and anecdotes, in the direction of Bahía Encerrada, passing through a site that gave rise to the city, the Mission Alta. From the panoramic view of the Bay we will be able to contemplate the city as a whole, and understand, through the story of our guides, the rich history of our ancestors, as well as old settlers.

Upon arriving at Casa Beban, passing through Casa Pena, and having seen the objects of rich historical value from ancient settlers, we are going to delve into part of Fuegian history. Then, we will visit Plaza Malvinas, and we will be able to contemplate its history, as well as the history of the 1982 war.

After having toured the Günter Pluschow Monument, and learned about his history as a pioneer aviator in the region, we will continue along the Bay to learn about the history of the ship that remained an icon of the bay, the Saint Christopher. Next, we will continue to the city’s Civic Plaza, to learn about its history, forged since October 12, 1884 when the national flag was raised for the first time.

Old Government House. We will get to know this emblematic building and its history, wrought with pleasant moments and anecdotes, where several offices functioned throughout the ages.

To finish, we can taste some delicious beers or something hot with artisanal chocolates at the Krund bar , in the midst of pleasant company and warm attention.
